Wills and Probate

We encourage all our clients to have their Will prepared and, from time to time, reviewed to reflect changes in the law and your personal situation (for example, re-marriage will invalidate an existing Will). Many clients are shocked to be told that their assets may attract taxation when they die. We will ensure your family assets are properly protected and, when they are passed onto your beneficiaries, taxation is kept to a minimum.

When someone close to you dies, we can manage the legal formalities. We can advise you whether or not the deceased had a Will (intestacy), if the Will cannot be found or even if it is held by another solicitor. We will identify and value all the assets, pay the bills, taxes and other expenses and attend to any legacies.
